Noah Kenneth "Kenney" Beachem, age 88, of Butler passed away at 9:30 P.M. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at his residence.  Kenney was born December 6, 1925 in Kiester, PA. He was the son of the late Harry Kenneth Beachem and the late Emma Gardner Beachem. Kenney was a Veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany and England during World War II. Kenney was a member of the Muddycreek United Presbyterian Church. He had been a welder at Pullman Standard and retired after 30 years of employment. Kenney loved his family, farming, hunting, fishing and having parties when everyone gathered together. He frequently said life is nothing without kids.  Kenney is survived by two daughters, Barbara J. (Robert) Reynolds and Joan Smaldone both of Alabama and one son, David (Vickie) Beachem of Butler, thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Marguerite Reeder, of Mt. Chestnut and several nieces and nephews.  Kenney is preceded in death by his wife, whom he adored, Gwendolyn Beachem who passed away November 23, 2013, as well as two sisters and one brother.  Friends will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury, PA 16061 from 11 to 1 Saturday, November 1, 2014.   Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Paul Cashdollar officiating. Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
