Giacomo D. “Jock” Kimicata, age 89, of Karns City passed away at 5:12 A.M. Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Butler Memorial Hospital.  Jock was born January 15, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA.  He was the son of the late Giacomo Kimicata and Myvanthey Evans Kimicata.  He was a member of St. Alphonsus Parish having attended St. Louis Catholic Church in West Sunbury.  He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army.  Jock was a landscaper and owner of Kimicata Brothers Landscaping.  Jock is survived by his wife, C. Lucille Kessler Kimicata, whom he married March 23, 1984, three daughters, Monica(Steve)Oder of Williamsport, MD, Frances Kimicata of Phoeniz, AZ and Rose M.(Joseph)Mormino of Bentsenville, IL, and two grandchildren, Roseanne Oder and Thomas Oder.  Two sisters, Florence Eichenlaub and Myvanthey O’Donnell, one step daughter, Wendy(William D.)Pounds of Chicora and two step sons, Phillip M. Benson of Sinclairsville, NY  and Kenneth M. Benson of Chicora, also survive.  He was preceded in death by his brother, John Kimicata.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at St. Louis Catholic Church, with Father James Bedillion, of St. Alphonsus Parish, officiating.  Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the donor's favority charity.
