Elizabeth Helen Arblaster, 24, of Slippery Rock, went peacefully to Heaven on Saturday, September 3, 2016.  Elizabeth was a loving, vibrant, creative and adventurous woman who touched the hearts of everyone she knew.  In the words of her older sisters – “We can say confidently that Lizz went to Heaven because she Believed.  God does not judge us based on our actions, heaven is not contingent upon our good works; it is based solely on our hearts.  And Lizz had the most beautiful heart we have ever seen.  The thing about Lizz is that she was SO full of life that it was almost too much for one lifetime.  All she wanted to do was to love and be loved.  Boy, did she do that.  We are proud of the beautiful young woman that she became and we know that she will guide us and motivate us to make her proud in our futures.  Our hearts are broken; we all lost a part of us in her passing.  But we can’t be selfish.  Heaven needed her more than we did.  So please, do not ask what happened.  Just know that we have all gained an angel and we count ourselves BLESSED to have known her.”

Born November 22, 1991, Elizabeth leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Sherrie Stiefel, and her mother’s fiancé, Don Marks, of Mars, PA; her father, Skip Arblaster, of Slippery Rock; two older sisters, Desiree Crawford, of Slippery Rock, and Casey Jones, and her husband, Andrew Jones, of Greenville, PA; her grandparents, David and Donna Walker, of Slippery Rock; three nieces, Anastacia, Marianna and Savannah Crawford of Slippery Rock; an uncle, David Walker, Jr. of Punxsutawney, PA; an aunt, Suzanne Mears, and her husband, Philip Mears, of Meadville, PA and two cousins, Sabine and Bryon Leach, of Meadville, PA.  Elizabeth is preceded in death by her step-father, Duane Stiefel, and her grandmother, Edith Arblaster. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury from 5 to 7 Thursday, September 8, 2016.  Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 P.M.

Dear Arblaster Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss, please accept my sincerest condolences at this time. Losing a loved one is certainly never easy and unfortunately it is the one thing that nearly everyone has experienced. Something that has helped me to cope with the loss of a loved one are the promises found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4. These scriptures along with others show that in the very near future God is going to not only bring our loved ones back to life but he is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we deal with sorrow, pain and even death itself. It is my sincere hope that these promises bring your family comfort at this time. Once again I am so sorry for your loss.
