I always enjoyed visiting Sam during his stay at QLS - Chicora Medical Center! Such a pleasant guy - always upbeat (as best can be)! I would stop in to visit, to encourage him, and he would always end up encouraging me in the process! He said to me one day, "It's not that I'm afraid to die, I just don't want to be there when it happens!" (still trying to be funny, even when he hurt to breathe!) My prayers will be with you all!
He will be greatly missed!
always,

Hi Debbie and Dick and Sam's Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Sam passing. I will never forget all the fun we had at Lake Erie on our vacations as kids. Thinking about you all and praying for peace for all of your broken hearts.

I am so sorry for your loss. May God comfort your mourning hearts. I pray that you find comfort in Revelation 21:3-5. This scripture paints a picture of a world that is very different from what we see today. A world with no more sickness, pain or death...and it's not a dream, it is a promise from God. He promises to reverse the effects of death and resurrect your precious one. You will never have to say a painful goodbye ever again!
