Deepest sympathy in the loss of Dave. He was a special friend and nurseryman. I was always there buying plants at the nursery and will miss his smiling face. I will miss his hugs whether at the nursery or at my place when he was doing his deer tendering. Rest in peace dear friend.

We are all so sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We were so lucky to have seen Dave in November at the Christmas open house that we all looked forward to going to every year, especially the kids. Ava, Wyatt, Brooke and Dane will miss seeing Dave and always enjoyed their visit with him and Santa! Dave always welcomed all of us with open arms just like we were family. We will always remember him and the joy he brought to ALL of us. We will miss you Dave!

All the fun times David we had at the Himes home, and the fun swimming in the pool. Growing up in Riggles Gap, Denny, Lori, and all the gang, I will never forget the good times, and have so many memories. You will be so missed David. ALL my Love and Prayers to You ALL!!

Everyone was loved and considered a friend of Dave. I am so sorry I missed his viewing and will grieve with you. He was so special and made people happy. I send hugs to Betty who waited on me at the nursery and did such a super job. I was fortunate to track Dave down when I saw the “for sale” sign last fall. I will always remember that visit and his beautiful flowers and enjoy the tree he planted in my front yard. God bless him and the family. Norma from Butler

We are so sorry to hear of Dave's passing! He was always the kindest person, from the first day we met him to sell pumpkins when he talked to our kids about helping with the family garden. So knowledgeable about all plants, and willing to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for gardening. We didn't know Cloe but loved visits from Sadie and Dave when we had our Ruby to welcome them. To Dave's friends and family: our sincere sympathy.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. There are a few people that are so genuine in their passion for life that you just have to befriend them hoping to share in that passion. Dave was such a person. His dedication to his mother was inspirational.
