Robert J. Zanella, 81, of Brooksville Florida passed away Saturday October 9, 2021.

Robert was born on April 25, 1940 in Concord Township as the son of the late Joseph Zanella and late Mary Elizabeth Campbell Zanella.

Bob was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked for ARMCO Steel. He enjoyed gardening and was a Master Gardener.  Bob also was a member of the Argyle Lodge in Chicora.

Bob is survived by his long time personal friend, Dan Kimmell, of Brooksville, FL; his siblings, Suzanne Grenet of Parker, Louise (David) Rankin of Hooker, James Zanella of Butler, and John (Anita) Zanella of West Sunbury; his children: Steve (Doreen) Zanella of Raleigh NC, Michele (Joe) Goray of Cecil and Brandon Zanella of Butler; his grandchildren: Whitney (Kyle) Simonian, Austin (Melissa) Zanella, Brennan Zanella, Trevor (Susie)Goray, Taylor (Katie) Zanella, Tanner (Elysa) Goray, and Brady Zanella; his great grandchildren: Bryce, Gavin, and Emma; and many nieces and nephews.  

Family and Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday October 14, 2021 at the William F Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday October 15, 2021 at Concord Presbyterian Church 625 Hooker Road West Sunbury with Rev. Bob Edmundson officiating.

Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery with Military Honors being provided by VFW Post 249, Lyndora American Legion Post 778, and Butler American Legion Post 117.

My deepest sympathy to you all, especially Steve, Michele, and Brandon. I have such wonderful memories of us all and will carry them in my heart forever. Please know that I will always remember all of you and all the fun times that we had together. You all will be in my prayers...today and always.
