Anna Marie Stanyard

Anna Marie Stanyard, age 78, born in Youngstown, Ohio, and formerly of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

Anna was born on September 8, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Norman William Stanyard and Annie Rose (Streeter) Stanyard.

She retired from Double R Enterprise Plastic Container Corporation, where she worked as a quality inspector for 32 years. Anna devoted much of her life to caring for her late parents and her family. She held great affection for all of her nieces and nephews, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews. Anna loved her “babies” and, throughout her life, had many beloved pets, including cats, dogs, bunnies, and chickens.

Anna is survived by three sisters: Norma (Joseph) Sanders of Newnan, Georgia; Sensarah (Dale) Gould of New Castle, Pennsylvania; and Margaret (Daniel) Speicher of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania; two brothers: Henry (Tish) Stanyard of Bessemer, Pennsylvania, and Jerome “Jerry” Stanyard of New Galilee, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Stanyard, and her sisters, Iola, Nancy, and Rosemary.

Visitation will be held Sunday January 4, 2026 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm  at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury, Pennsylvania 16061.
Private Burial will take place Monday at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio.
