Barbara Evans Obituary
Barbara A. (Joann) Evans, age 74, of Petrolia passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at UPMC Montefiore in Pittsburgh.
Barbara was born October 11, 1944 in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Charles(Sam)Dean, Sr. and the late Mary Gorgas Dean.
Barbara is survived by three daughters, Melinda Evans, and her fiancé Harry Alcorn, of Parker, Betty Logan, and her companion Frank Barnhart, of North Washington and Misty Parker of Petrolia; five sons, Ralph Evans, and his wife Cheryl, of AZ, Chuck Evans, and his wife Angie, of Indianapolis, James(Hugo)Evans of Butler, Bob Evans of New Bethlehem, and Eugene(Stymie)Evans of Petrolia; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One brother, Charles V. Dean, Jr., of Pittsburgh also survives.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Evans.
The family will receive friends at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury from 4 to 6 Thursday, December 6, 2018. Services and burial will be private.
