Betsy A. (Montgomery) Patterson

Betsy A. (Montgomery) Patterson, age 67, of Slippery Rock passed away the morning of Friday December 27, 2024 at her home.

Betsy was born on May 19, 1957 in Grove City as the daughter of the late Paul and Lois (Crawford) Montgomery. Betsy retired from Autumn Grove Care Center as a Nurses Aide after 35 years of service. She enjoyed going for golf cart rides at camp with her husband and with her dog, Brucie. She liked spending time at camp with her family and she enjoyed going on shopping trips with her sister in law. She was a big Pittsburgh Steeler fan. 

Betsy is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Patterson Jr.; one sister, Brenda (Frank) Snyder of New Castle; one brother, Denny Montgomery of Colorado; and sister-in-law, Irma Burton of Slippery Rock.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie.

Family and Friends will be received for Visitation from 3-5 and 7-9 Monday December 30, 2024 at the William F. Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury.   Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home Tuesday December 31, 2024 with Rev. Richard Marshall officiating.

Burial held Privately at Muddy Creek Cemetery.
