Christine Ann Rothman, 62, passed away Wednesday March 24, 2021.
Chris was born on June 14, 1958 in Butler as a daughter of the late Arthur D. Sankey and Helen (Logut) Sankey. She was a 1976 graduate from Moniteau Jr. Sr. High School and went on to earn a nursing degree from Butler Community College. She worked for many years at the hospital in Grove City as a Registered Nurse. She was an avid volunteer throughout her life working with the Meals on Wheels in Grove City for many years. She also was the President of the Grove City Hospital Volunteers. Her main passion in her life was her family and being Nana to her many grandchildren.
Christine is survived by her loving husband, Dr. David Rothman, and the couple resided for many years in Grove City. Additionally, she is survived by her children: Justin (Kristen) Porter of Lake George, Colorado; Caitlin (Michael) Andryka of Batesville, Arkansas; Michael (Michele) Rothman of Olympia, Washington; Mark (Amy) Rothman of Petoskey, Michigan; and Lisa (Matt) Wessell of Morrison, Colorado. Her nine grandchildren also survive: Nathan Rothman, Gabriel and Lauren Rothman, Madeline, Andie Mae, and Roy Wessell, Payton and Trenton Porter, and Elijah Andryka. She is also survived by her loving mother, Helen (Logut) Sankey, of West Sunbury; three sisters: Sherri Moore of West Sunbury, Veronica Morrow (Robert Hanold) of Emlenton, and Janice Morgain of Saxonburg; as well as many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her father and two brothers: Arthur Sankey Jr. and Larry Sankey.
Funeral Services for Christine A. Rothman were private. Arrangements were entrusted to William F. Young Funeral Home, West Sunbury.
