Donald E. Campbell

Donald E. Campbell, age 71, of West Sunbury passed away Monday, September 22, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital following a battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Don was born November 20, 1953 in Butler as the son of the late Reed D. Campbell and the late Betty M. Boyer Campbell.  He was a 1971 graduate of Moniteau High School. Don had been employed as a machinist at Cooper Bessemer in Grove City until its closing and retired from Campbell Bus Lines where he worked as both a mechanic and a bus driver.  He loved his farm and his tractors and took his last ride on his tractor in the Summer of 2025.

Don is survived by his wife, Barbara Jane McKinney Campbell; his daughter Emily(Jacob)Moore of West Sunbury; his son Cody(Brittany)Campbell of New Wilmington and four grandchildren, Chase and Rhett Moore and Caleb and Joelle Grace Campbell.  His sister, Karen(Kenneth)Thompson,  of Erie also survives.

Don was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Abby Joy Campbell.

As per Don’s wishes services and burial will be private.
