Donald E. “Donnie” Hiwiller, 54, of Petrolia passed away Thursday September 2, 2021.
Donnie was born on August 23, 1967 in Grove City as the son of the late Harold W. Hiwiller and late Sandra J. Hurst Hiwiller.
Donnie was an avid sports fan. He loved to play golf, enjoyed coaching for his family’s teams, and watching all sports. He also liked spending time at the Horse Races. He was employed as a Supervisor for BNY Mellon at the Underground Mines for over 20 years.
Donnie is survived by two daughters: Emily (Josh) Patton of Boyers and Kyrstin Hiwiller of East Brady; five grandchildren: Jase, Brooke, Daisy, Mable, and Graycee; one sister: Sherry (Ron) Cumberland of Petrolia; his niece, Brady and nephew, Colton; his great niece, Phoenix; and his dog Jerzey.
Family and friends will be received from 4:00 - 6:00 pm for a Memorial Gathering Tuesday September 7, 2021. A Private Memorial Service will follow at the funeral home.
