Donna Garing Obituary
Donna J. Heemer Garing, age 59, of Butler passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Donna was born February 27, 1959 in Butler, PA. She was the daughter of Floyd “Tag” Heemer and the late Elsie M. Weitzel Heemer. Donna had been employed at various places until her illness. She had an avid interest in geneology and family history. Donna enjoyed spending time with her loving children and family. She enjoyed crocheting gifts for others and in her younger years she enjoyed showing her car with the Street Machines.
Donna is survived by her husband, Stanley Garing; one daughter, Brittney Garing, of Bruin; one son, William Garing, of West Sunbury; her father, Floyd Heemer, and his wife Geraldine of Butler and one brother Larry Heemer of Slippery Rock.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Heemer.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at St. John’s Reformed Church, Rt 68, Butler.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice, 102 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
