Dorothy Rose (Keddie) Campbell

With the angels now Dorothy Rose (Keddie) Campbell, 95,  Born October 1, 1926. of West Sunbury passed away March 16, 2022.

She joined her parents Joseph & Agnes (Fey) Keddie, siblings Beatrice, Regis, Grace, Jean, Millie, and David on the 42nd anniversary of her mother’s passing.

Married to Walter L. Campbell on July 6, 1948 they had nine children Judy (Ray) Gaiser, Walter(Carolyn) Campbell, Sara(James) Trbusich, Nancy(Gilbert) Hoover, Donna(Kenneth) Hertzog), Ruth (Ray) Abplanalp, Joseph(Wendy) Campbell, James(Mary) Campbell and John(Michelle) Campbell. Blessed with 22 grand children, 20 great grands and many nieces and nephews to complete the family.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Walter & Ray G and James T- her sons-in-law.

Mickey a fun-loving woman was nicknamed by her dad after a mischievous comic book character. She enjoyed playing jokes, pranks, cards and Rummikub.  Laughing when winning, pouting shamelessly when not.  She was an active member of St. Faustina/St. Louise church, Enjoyed the outdoors, crafts, family and friends.  Her Beautiful smile will be missed. We love you more.

The family will receive friends at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Sunday, March 20, 2022.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church at 11:30 A.M. Monday March 21, 2022 with Father Adam Verona and Father Chuck Baptiste of St. Faustina Parish officiating.

Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery, followed by lunch at the church.  In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable contribution to a charity of your choice in Dorothy’s name.
