Eva Jean Dunkle, age 81, of Butler passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Eva Jean was born December 16, 1936 in Eidson, TN to the late James Nelson Wilder and the late Dorothy Bowlin Wilder. She was a homemaker. Eva Jean loved playing Bingo and spending time with her family.
Eva Jean is survived by five daughters, Donna(David)Scheuring of West Sunbury, Dorothy M.(Bobby Caywood)Jones of New Wilmington, Margaret(Ernest)Fox of Butler, Mary L.(Patrick)Payne of Emlenton and Brenda L. Laurencot of Slippery Rock; four sons, Robert(Deborah)Dunkle, of Karns City, John C. Dunkle, Larry Wayne Dunkle and Dale R. Dunkle, all of Butler; eighteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren. One half sister, Joyce Scheckell and one half brother, Jerry Wilder, both of TN, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Eva Jean was preceded in death by six sisters, two brothers, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.
The family will receive friends at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury from 6 to 8 Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Robert V. Mathias officiating.
Burial will be in the St. John’s Reformed Church Cemetery, Chicora.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations for funeral expenses be made to the funeral home.
