George A. “Twiggy” Wick, 73, of Butler passed away Saturday June 25, 2022.
Born on April 24, 1949 in Butler, George was the son of the late John William Wick and late Mary E. Vensel Wick.
Twiggy retired from ARMCO Steel where he worked as a Plant 2 Roller for over 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting as a member of IHMSA and a life member of the NRA. He also enjoyed making handmade primitive knives.
George is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lee Ann (Kramer) Wick, whom he married on June 22, 1968; one son, Shane (Cindy) Wick of Butler; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Keirsten; and one great grandchild, Finnlee.
Family and Friends will be received from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday June 28, 2022 at the William F. Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury. Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Private Burial in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
