Greg A. Campbell

Greg A. Campbell, age 54, of Portersville passed away Sunday October 27, 2024 peacefully with his family and friends at his side.

Born on May 3, 1970 in Butler, he was the son of A. Reid and Patricia “Patty” (Daugherty) Campbell.

Greg graduated from Moniteau High School class of 1988. He attended Gannon University and the University of Pittsburgh, graduating from both with a chemical and chemical engineering degree. He worked his entire career for the former Ashland Chemical on Neville Island. He was a life member of the West Sunbury Volunteer Fire Department and member of the Hopewell Twp. Volunteer Fire Company. He was a fan of all Pittsburgh Sports and loved ice hockey. He especially loved watching his son play hockey.

Greg is survived by his wife of 23 years, Michelle (Mine) Campbell; his son, Gage; his parents: Reid and Patty Campbell of West Sunbury; his sister: Denise (Greg) Paulson of Reading; father in law and mother in law, Michael and Martha Mine, of West Sunbury; sister in law and brother in law, Maria and George Pry, of West Sunbury; brother in law, Matthew Mine of Denver, CO; and nieces and nephews: Nick (Maria) Aragon-Pry, Kayla Paulson, Jacob Pry, Luke Paulson, Haley (Ethan) McDeavitt, Victoria Pry, and Allie Pry.

Family and Friends will be received for Visitation from 2-4 and 6-9 Wednesday October 30, 2024 at the William F. Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday October 31, 2024 at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Mathias, officiating. Interment will be held privately.
