Helen Louise (Campbell) Boyer

Helen Louise Boyer, age 87, of Prospect passed away the morning of Wednesday June 28, 2023 while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot, PA. 

She was born February 19, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Joseph S. Campbell and Helen (Christie) Campbell. 

Helen graduated in 1954 from Concord High School. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Prospect. She was also a member of Keenagers in Portersville where she enjoyed the monthly fellowship and many bus trips. She loved cooking and baking with her granddaughters Hannah and Chloe. She was an avid reader.

Helen is survived by her two daughters: Christine Humphrey and Beverly (Michael) McCall; two sons: William E. Boyer and John (Michelle) Boyer; four granddaughters; two great grandchildren; two sisters: Betty Jane Daugherty and Patricia Henricks; two brothers: Gerald Campbell and John Campbell; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband R.W. “Bill” Boyer, whom she married August 30, 1957; her daughter Connie Boyer, and brother Leo Campbell.

Family and Friends will be received for visitation from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm Thursday June 29, 2023 at the William F Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury. 

Funeral Services will follow visitation at 6:00 pm at the funeral home Thursday with Pastor Jason Sinagra, of the Presbyterian Church of Prospect, officiating.
