James "Jesse" N. Porter

James N. “Jesse” Porter, age 66, of Coaltown passed away October 9, 2023.

Born on April 19, 1957 in Butler, he was the son of the late Russell B. Porter and Evelyn E. (Shawl) Porter.

Jesse loved to hunt and loved to go to camp with friends. He also enjoyed going to gun raffles and riding his Can Am around. He retired from General Electric in Grove City in 2016. Jim will be remembered for always being ready and willing to help out with anything that anybody asked of him.  He was a man of all trades. 

He is survived by one daughter, Chelsea D. Porter, of Harrisville; one son, Adam N. (Paige) Porter of McDonald Ohio; two grandchildren: Carson and Aubrey; two sisters: Carol (Ronald) Link of South Carolina and Mary (Kenneth) Peffer of Harrisville; three brothers: Bruce Porter, Charles (Nancy) Porter, and William (Beverly) Porter, all of West Sunbury; one sister in law, Linda Porter, of West Sunbury; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald.

Services and Burial were held privately. The William F Young Funeral Home, West Sunbury has assisted the family with arrangements.
