Janice E. (Mariacher) Ice

Janice E. Ice, 68, of Freeport passed away the evening of Sunday November 21, 2021.

Janice was born on April 22, 1953 in Butler as the daughter of the late John Charles Mariacher and late Bernadine I. McEwen Mariacher.

Janice retired from Moniteau High School as a guidance counselor.  She enjoyed crocheting.

Janice is survived by one daughter: Octavia B. Ice of Freeport; two granddaughters: Lily Finian and Violet Elizabeth; and three sisters: Mary Barbara Connolly of New Castle, Carol (Rick) York of West Virginia, and Anita (Brian) Chiaravalle of Connecticut.

She was preceded in death by one brother, William.

Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday November 28, 2021 from 1:00- 3:00 pm at the William F Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury.  A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial Private.
