Jeffrey C. Busi

Jeffrey C. “Jeff” Busi, age 61, of Slippery Rock, formerly of Saltsburg, passed away Monday,  September 19, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family following a short illness.

Jeff was born November 24, 1960 in Latrobe, PA as the son of the late Peter Busi and the late Mildred Irene Rearick Busi.  Jeff had been employed as a maintenance scheduler at Cleveland Cliffs(Armco). He was a gun enthusiast who enjoyed riding his Harley, a cold Coors Light, a good cigar and working on cars and motorcycles.  It was said there was nothing he could not fix. Spending time with his family, most importantly his grandchildren, and his dogs brought much joy to Jeff.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Karen Young Busi, whom he married September 6, 2014; three daughters, Angie(Steve)Aveard of Glenshaw, Danielle Busi of Butler and Sarah (Joey) Zona of West Deer; one step daughter, Chelsea Porter of Harrisville; one step son, Adam (Paige) Porter of McDonald, OH and five grandchildren, Macy and Emmy Aveard, Carson Porter and Gabriel and Hunter Zona.  Also surviving are two sisters, Linda (Simon) Duffy of Forestville and Faye Busi of Hermitage; two brothers. Peter(Karen)Busi of Slippery Rock, and Dan (Lori) Busi of Hermitage and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury from 4 to 8 Wednesday, September 21, 2022.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12 Noon Thursday, September 22, 2022 with Rev. Jim Lewis officiating.

Burial will be in the Slippery Rock Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew PA 16053
