John P. Martino

John P. Martino, age 58, of Boyers passed away Friday January 16, 2026.

He was born on January 16, 1968 in Grove City as the son of Patsy V. and M. Althea (Heller) Martino. John was a graduate of Moniteau High School class of 1985 and later attended the New Castle School of Trades. He was a member of St. Faustina Parish. John worked as a mechanic for over 30 years with various crane operations. He was a member of the Boyers Sportsman’s Association and loved hunting with his family. He enjoyed fast cars and spending time with his family and friends.

John is survived by his daughter, Amanda Martino, of Harrisville; his three sons: Patrick, Nick (Samantha), and Matthew (Aleah), all of Boyers; four grandchildren: Wyatt, Collin, Anna, and Vinny; his mother, Althea; his close friend, Diane Rugg; two brothers: Joe (Jamie) Martino of Boyers and Brian (Diana) Martino of Hilliards; sister-in-law, Patti (DeMatteis) Martino; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his daughter Heather, father Patsy, and brother Keith.

Family and Friends will be received for Visitation from 5-8 Wednesday January 21, 2026 at the William F. Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury. A Blessing Service will be held at 11:30 am Thursday January 22, 2026 at the funeral home with Father Adam Verona of St. Faustina Parish officiating. 

Burial to follow at Epiphany Catholic Cemetery in Boyers.
