Joseph P Holfelder

Joseph P. Holfelder, 27, of West Sunbury passed away unexpectedly Sunday September 12, 2021 at home.

Joseph was born on August 22, 1994 in Butler as the son of Mark Holfelder and Kathleen “Kitty” McElhenny Holfelder.

Joseph was a 2012 graduate of Moniteau High School where he played many sports and previously attended Butler Catholic Schools.  He was a member of St. Faustina Parish and attended St. Louis Church. He was employed as a utility inspector for American Energy.

Joseph is survived by his parents Mark and “Kitty”; one sister: Marcella F. Holfelder of Maine; one brother: Mark H. Holfelder Jr. of Boyers; and many aunts and uncles.  

A Memorial visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday September 15, 2021 at the William F Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury. A Blessing Service will be at 4:00 pm at the funeral home with Father Adam Verona of St. Faustina Parish officiating.  

Burial will be private.
