Kelly Ann Dougherty passed away on November 1st, 2025 at the young age of 29 (plus 30).
She was born July 22nd, 1966 to James Dougherty and Susan Black.
She is survived by her son: William (Jamie) Mundell; her daughter: Hillary Mundell; sister: Erin Dougherty; nephew: J.R. Baron; step-brother: Stephen Harman; cousins: Rhys and Yvonne Reese; her dear friend: Liz Aquino; and of course, her two very well fed cats Slate and Ollie.
She spent her career helping those with disabilities, and her personal life helping people struggling with addiction. Kelly was a woman who loved helping others and lived her life with endless forgiveness and compassion.
She was a woman with a love of long naps on the couch, soap operas, dirty jokes and making everyone she knew feel like family. She was always known as the "cool mom" by her children's friends and made it her life's mission to be the best mom humanly possible to her two children. (In which she succeeded).
Memorial services will be held in private.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to The Lung Cancer Research Foundation https://www.lungcancerresearchfoundation.org , the SAFE Project https://www.safeproject.us/memorial/or your local animal shelter.
Cremation Services have been arranged by the Young family of William F Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury.
