Lydia M. Tiche

Lydia M. Tiche, age 79, of Grove City and Slippery Rock, formerly of Boyers, passed away peacefully the evening of Wednesday January 21, 2026.

She was born on November 20, 1946 in Boyers as the daughter of the late Samuel and Sophia Lydia (Szali) Tiche.

Lydia proudly worked for more than 40 years at Slippery Rock University in the custodial department. She lived a very simple life and found great enjoyment and love in beautiful flowers.

She is survived by her sister, Bonnie (Ernest) Leonard of California and her brother, Michael (Barb) Tiche of Harrisville and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Lydia in death was two sisters: Sarah Cornelius and Linda Scheckler; one brother, Samuel “Rooster” Tiche; and one nephew, Louis H. Tiche.

Services were held Privately. Cremation Services were entrusted to the care of the Young Family of William F. Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury.
