Margaret Rose (Lucas) Carly

Margaret Rose Carly, age 71, of Boyers passed away the evening of Wednesday August 23, 2023.

Born on June 3, 1952 in Clarksburg West Virginia, Margaret was the daughter of Margaret Jean Lucas and the late Frank John Lucas. 

She was a member of the West Sunbury American Legion Post 243, Cherry Valley VFW 7840, and the Moose in West Virginia.  She enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, and hunting. 

Margaret is survived by her husband, Rickey W. Carly, whom she married on September 2, 1972; her mother, Margaret Jean Lucas, of South Carolina; one daughter, Summerlee (Jeremy) Garber, of South Carolina; one son: John (Savannah) Carly, of Ohio; and four grandchildren: Orion, Beckham, Xander, and Mika.  She is also survived by four sisters: Stephanie, Nancy, Jane, and Judy; and three brothers: Frank, John, and Andrew; and several nieces and nephews. 

Margaret was preceded in death by her father.

Services and Interment Private. The William F Young Funeral Home, West Sunbury has assisted the family with arrangements.
