Mary Dickson Obituary
Mary F. Dickson, 84, of Harrisville, formerly of Sewickley passed away Monday, June 21, 2021.
Mary was born on March 8, 1937 in Pittsburgh to the late Frances J. Robinson and the late Marie Henrietta Brown Robinson.
Mary was a former member of the Allegheny Baptist Temple and West Unity Community Church. She owned and operated Mary D. Stables where she boarded horses, gave riding lessons, and trained horses. Mary was well known in her community for her knowledge of and experience with horses.
Mary is survived by one daughter, Cindy (Bill) Martin, of Harrisville; two sons: Bruce (Kathy) Dickson, of Cranberry Township and Tom (Linda) Dickson of Sewickley; one granddaughter, Jessica (Zac) Slater; and two grandsons: Thomas “Tommy Lee” Dickson and Mike (Jen) Dickson and Mary’s great grandsons: Dominic, Anthony, and Sam. Mary is also survived by two sisters: Arlene Hey of Sewickley and Karen Brown of Sewickley; and two brothers: Kenneth (Joyce) Robinson of Sewickley and Keith (Vickie) Robinson of Mars.
A Memorial Service will be held July 10, 2021 from 11:00 – 1:00 pm at Mary’s Stables- Mary D. Stables 2638 Brown Road Sewickley, PA 15143.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Mary’s memory the family requests donations be made to Rocking R. Ranch and Rescue Inc. found on Facebook.
