Mary Horstman Obituary
Mary L. Horstman, age 83, of Butler passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital.
Mary was born January 4, 1934 in Butler, PA. She was the daughter of the late Bernard Birckbichler and the late Irene Taylor Matson. Mary was a homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church of Butler.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Loraine Horstman of Butler and Mrs. Edward(Linda)Riding of SC; two sons, Richard(Shaunee)Horstman of Fenelton and Donald(Deborah)Horstman of Butler; eleven grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Four brothers, Bernard Birckbichler of Titusville, William Birckbichler of OH, Dennis Matson of Butler and Gary Matson of Butler also survive.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas G. Horstman, who died January 15, 2012; one granddaughter, Brenda Brenneman; one great granddaughter, Ashley Deal and one sister.
Services and burial in St. Anthony’s Cemetery were private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Slippery Rock Baptist Camp Building Fund, 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock, PA 16057
