Obituary
Mary Luchkiw, 95, of Petrolia passed away Saturday January 8, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford.
Mary was born on December 25, 1926 in Erico, Venango Township, Butler County. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Kloda) Krajewski.
Mary was a member of St. Faustina Parish. She is fondly remembered for her delicious poppyseed rolls and her love of Elvis.
Mary is survived by a son and daughter, Mr. Robert (Nancy) Luchkiw and Mrs. Anna (Carl) Hartle, both of Petrolia; four grandchildren, Carl (Danica) Hartle, Jr., Kristin (Jason) Anderson, Janeen (Jim) Beatty, and Jolienne (Kevin) Himes; and nine great grandchildren: Bailey, Alexandria, and Cydney Hartle, Harley and Macey Anderson, Halle and Guerrin Beatty, and Cameron and Addison Himes.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Luchkiw who passed away August 20, 1994; three brothers, two sisters, and a great granddaughter, Laney Anderson.
Mary’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford for their love and compassion for Mary and her family.
Services and Burial in North Washington Cemetery will be Private.
