Mary Lou (Wolfe) Tirk

Mary Lou Wolfe Tirk, age72 , of West Sunbury passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Mary Lou was born on September 8, 1949 in Butler County as the daughter of the late Glenn Lewis Wolfe and Garnet Fleeger Wolfe.  Mary Lou was a homemaker and worked at Zanella Milling in West Sunbury for many years.  She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mary Lou is survived by one daughter, Erin I. Tirk of West Sunbury; one son, Wade W. Tirk (Meghan) of Hooker; six grandchildren: Isabel, Danielle, Jess, Hunter, Rowyn, and Rory; one brother James (Pat) Wolfe of Foxburg; and son in law Will Landsperger.  She was a Beloved Aunt to many and was beloved to her sister-in-laws.  She was loved by all. 

Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel C. Tirk; one daughter, Leigh Ann Landsperger; an infant son, Daniel; three brothers and three sisters. 

Friends will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday December 1, 2021.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday December 2, 2021 at the funeral home. 

Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Butler.
