Melvin “Buzz” Carl Clark, age 73, of Butler, formerly of Hamilton, Ohio passed away the afternoon of Monday February 26, 2024 in the comfort of his home after a battle with cancer.
Born on June 17, 1950 in Hamilton, Ohio, Buzz was the son of the late Harlan and Ruth Rowlette (Griggs) Clark.
Buzz was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served two tours during the Vietnam War. He served as a Chaplain for the Marine Corp League for many years. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Buzz retired from US Foods as a meat cutter. He loved playing his guitar, banjo, and mandolin and loved singing. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and also his grand-pup Crosby.
Buzz is survived by his wife, Marcella “Marsha” (Morabito) Clark, whom he married on May 7, 1989; two daughters: April Kelly Turman of Hamilton Ohio, and Tonya Jo (Steve) Hudson of Fairfield, Ohio; two sons: Adam Robert-Carl (Natalie) Clark of Hooker and Charles E. (Jody) Pflugh, Jr. of Eau Claire; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Robert C. (Carolyn) Clark, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
A Celebration of Life service in Buzz’s Honor will be held at a later date.
