Michael John Ball, age 29, of Punxsutawney, formerly of Butler passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021.
Michael was born December 29, 1991 in Butler as the son of David C. Halloway and Karen Ball. He was a veteran of the United State Marine Corps having served in Afghanistan. Michael was a 2010 graduate of Butler High School and was employed as a gardener at Cresco Labs Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and playing his guitar.
Michael is survived by his mother, Karen Ball of Butler; his father, David C. Halloway of South Carolina; his sister, Emily Halloway of South Carolina; his step brother, Alex Rice of South Carolina; paternal grandparents, Linda and Frank Roth of North Carolina; maternal aunts, Rhonda Ball and Tricia Lebanno; paternal aunt, Maria Clark; paternal uncle, David Ball and several great aunts, great uncles and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Judy Ball.
The family will receive friends at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Monday, May 3, 2021.
Services and burial will be private.
