Nancy J. Morley, age 88, formerly of Ford City passed away the morning of December 20, 2024 at her daughter’s home.
She was born on January 11, 1936 as the daughter of Oscar Curwin Everett and Freda Mae (Reitler) Everett.
Nancy graduated from Ford City High School. She worked at Peoples Natural Gas in Pittsburgh in gas management until her retirement. She was a member of Springdale Lutheran Church. She enjoyed volunteering at Benbrook Medical Center and Swimming at the YMCA with Silver Sneakers.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, with whom she made her home, Candice Scholl and her son-in-law, Leonard Scholl; her son, Scott (Rhonda) Shannon; her grandchildren, Kayla (Sam) Wareham, Eric (Tammi) Shannon and Ryan (Tara) Peters; her great grandchildren: Chevelle Shannon, Wyatt Wareham, and Cassidy Wareham; a nephew, Shane Thomaswick; and her beloved Australian Sheperd, Dixie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Shannon.
