She was an avid seamstress known to be able to mend any rip or tear, specializing in work pants, and repaired many pieces of clothing for her grandchildren and their friends. Norma was an accomplished pianist, able to sight read any piece of music. She also enjoyed word search puzzles and sitting in her rocking chair on the farmhouse porch.
