Patricia Gayle Hurd

Patricia Gayle Hurd, age 69, of Hilliards, PA, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2019 at 1:47 am. She was born November 3, 1949 in Butler, PA and was the daughter of the late Frank Robb, Sr. and the late Valjean Robb (Hay).
Patricia grew up in Slippery Rock and graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1967.  She enjoyed being outside in the sun, gardening, crocheting, building puzzles, music, her cat named Mama and she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Patricia was also a member of the West Sunbury Rebekahs. She worked at Iron Mountain and then retired after 35 years.
Patricia is survived by her husband Rex Hurd, Jr., who she was married to for 42 years; daughters Julie Alvarez of Cambridge Springs, PA, Frankie Mahood of Grove City, PA and Ellen Hurd of Slippery Rock, PA; son Stephen Hurd of Roanoke, VA; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sister Lynda Weitzel of Butler, PA and brothers Frank Robb, Jr. of Highsprings, FL, Arthur Robb of Slippery Rock, PA and Kenneth Robb of Slippery Rock, PA.
She was preceded in death by both parents.
Visitation for Patricia Gayle Hurd will be held at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main Street, West Sunbury from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm Tuesday April 2, 2019. Services will be held at 8:00 pm.
Burial will be private.
