Paul R. Brown

Paul R. Brown, age 83, of Butler passed away Sunday January 17, 2021 at home of natural causes.  

Paul was born on February 10, 1937 in Butler.  He was the son of the late William C. Brown and the late Grayce L. Longdon Brown.  Paul was a Veteran of the United States Navy during Vietnam serving from 1960 to 1965.  He was a dairy farmer all of his life and drove for Butler Motor Transit and Campbell Bus.  Paul retired from the Moniteau School District as a custodian.

Paul is survived by two daughters: Patricia (Darryl)Cole of West Sunbury and Julie (James)Kelley of South Carolina; four sons: Vernon C. (Nahtanha)Brown of Venus, PA, Edward (Kelly)McKissick of Butler, Paul R. (Julie)Brown II of Butler and David (Amy)Brown of Slippery Rock; nineteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and his longtime companion, Karla Reinhold.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm noon Wednesday January 20, 2021 in West Sunbury Union Cemetery, Hallston Road, West Sunbury with Pastor Evelyn “Pete” Beebe officiating.  Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post 249, Lyndora American Legion Post 778, and Butler American Legion Post 117.
