Peter DeLoss Osborne

Peter DeLoss Osborne, age 61, of Butler, son of Raylene (Campbell) Osborne and late Richard P. Osborne passed away August 31, 2025 after a 4 year battle with cancer.   

Peter was born on January 14, 1964 in New Castle. He was a 1982 graduate of Moniteau High School and later graduated from the Butler Beauty Academy. He was the owner and operator of City Lites Shearologist Salon on Brady Street.

Peter is survived by his mother, Raylene, of West Sunbury; special friends, Sharon Vrable and Bryan Geer; his aunts, Marilyn Beatty and Frances Harding; uncle, Gerald (Cathy) Osborne, and close cousins: Kelly (George) Janis, Karey Harding, Kyle (Chilton) Shoup, Ashley (Mike) Perry, and Dylan Harding.

He was preceded in death by his baby sister, Valerie Sue, and father, Richard P. Osborne.

Peter’s family would like to thank his many faithful salon clients he had during his more than 35 years in business.

A Memorial Service in his honor will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday October 19, 2025 at Springdale Lutheran Church 1061 Mahood Road with Pastor Dennis Protzman officiating.
