Phyllis R. (Mulneix) Delu

Phyllis R. Delu, 86, of Grove City went to be with her Lord the morning of Thursday July 28, 2022 in Grove City.

Born on May 22, 1936 in Connoquenessing, Phyllis was the daughter of the late William E. Mulneix and late Frances C. (Trautman) Mulneix. 

Phyllis was an avid Farkle player and was a talented pie baker.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She was very special to many people.    

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Marquita Kordes, of Grove City; her son, Jeff (Dana) Delu, of Eau Claire; her son in law, David Hockenberry, of Grove City; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  Also surviving are two sisters: Rose Slupe and Karen (Edwin) Sommerville, both of Butler and many nieces and nephews. 

Phyllis was preceded in death by her son, Charles E. Delu Jr; her daughter, Frances M. Hockenberry; one sister; and thirteen brothers. 

Family and Friends will be received from 1:00 – 4:00 pm Saturday July 30, 2022 at the William F. Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury.  Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Williard Morse, officiating. 

Interment private.
