Richard P. Osborne

Richard P. “Rich” Osborne, age 85, of West Sunbury passed away peacefully the evening of Thursday February 13, 2025 at his home.

Born on November 6, 1939 in Boyers, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Caroline A. (Opitz) Osborne.

Rich was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and retired from Hunter’s Truck Sales where he was a parts manager for 47 years. He enjoyed attending car shows, bowling, and mowing grass.

Rich is survived by his wife of 67 years, Raylene Campbell, whom he married on June 18, 1958; his son, Peter DeLoss Osborne, of Butler; one sister, Marilyn Beatty, of Eau Claire; one brother, Gerald Osborne, of Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie Osborne, who was born on January 27, 1961 and who passed away February 3, 1961; his sister, Joyce Osborne Stalker Morrison; and his in laws, Rany D. and Sarah A. Campbell.A Memorial Service in honor of Richard P. “Rich” Osborne, age 85, of West Sunbury who passed away February 13, 2025 will be held Sunday May 18, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Springdale Lutheran Church 1061 Mahood Road West Sunbury with Pastor Dennis Protzman officiating.
