Robert A. Brown

Robert A. Brown, age 64, of Chicora passed away the morning of Saturday June 21, 2025 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Butler on September 16, 1960 as the son of Helen L. (Bieber) Brown and the late Thomas William Brown.

Robert graduated from Moniteau High School class of 1980. He was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church and formerly worked at the Butler VA Medical Center in the food service department for 33 years. He also worked at Camp Lutherlyn.

He is survived by his mother, Helen; one brother, Ronald (Lisa Ann) Brown of Florida; one aunt, B. Naomi Sholes; two nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Charles and Thomas Jr.

Family and Friends will be received for Visitation from 6-8 pm Monday June 23, 2025 at the William F Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury and from 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday June 24, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church 266 Zion Church Road Chicora, PA 16025.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday June 24, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Oehlschlager, officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Muddycreek Cemetery.
