Roland J. Ferguson, 79, of West Sunbury, PA passed away at 6:45 P.M. December 10, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
Roland was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 7, 1938. The son of the late Alexander and Marie Ferguson. On June 29, 1957, he married Nancy J. Grossman who survives him along with three children, Debra J. Thomas, Daryl(Stacy)Ferguson, and Denise(Mark)Kennedy; four grandchildren, Crystal and Carie Claypoole, Jessica(Garrett)Prorok and Mitchell Ferguson; four great grandchildren, Kaitee, Emily, Madilyn and Gavin; and two siblings, Helen Loftus and Robert Ferguson.
Roland was preceded in death by one son, Douglas Ferguson, and three siblings.
Roland enjoyed gardening and wine making. He served in the Army Reserves from 1957-1962. He worked at Rockwell Standard in New Castle and was an owner/operator tractor trailer driver. He was a member of the American Legion Post 852 in Harrisville.
Services and burial were private.
