Ron retired from ARMCO Steel in 2006 after working for 39 years in the Coil Warehouse.  After retirement, he worked as the Security Gate Keeper at Wolfs Camping Resort. He camped there for 32 years and will be missed by his many friends there. He was an avid hunter, camper, and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

(Overly) Campbell, whom he married on April 30, 1977; their three children: one son, Matthew (April) Campbell of Petrolia; and two daughters: Kristen (Denny) Hassler of Knox and Chelsea Williamson of Slippery Rock; and four grandchildren: Logan and Makenna Campbell and Landen and Presten Hassler. He is also survived by two sisters: Patti (Ken) Schultheis of Slippery Rock and Diane (Jim) Early of West Sunbury; two brothers: Richard (Rose) Campbell of Petrolia and Kevin (Linda) Campbell of Mercer; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and his camping family.

In 1984, after the death of his mother-in-law, Ron along with his wife became the legal guardians of her five youngest siblings; Donna Mitchell, Marcy (Michael) Thomas, Dean (Ronda) Overly, Brian (Val) Overly and Shawn (Tanya) Overly.

Ron was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Joseph Andrew Williamson.
