Ronald Kilcoin Obituary

Ronald “Korn” G. Kilcoin, age 75, of Boyers, formerly of Port Allegany passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Butler Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Korn was born September 7, 1942 in Austin, PA.  He was the son of the late Gilbert I. Kilcoin and Vivian P. Blanchard Bashline.  Korn was a veteran of the United States Army during Vietnam serving in the 1st Infantry Division.  He was awarded the Purple Heart for his service.  Korn retired in 1998 as a box maker for the Ball Glass Company in Port Allegany.  He was a member of the VFW in Port Allegany.

Korn is survived by one daughter, Tara(Patrick)Farley of Indian Trails, NC; one son, Thomas(Connie)Kilcoin of Boyers and four grandchildren, Tori Kilcoin, Jacob Kilcoin, Carolina Farley and Aiden Farley.  Also surviving are one brother, Gerald(Bonnie)Kilcoin of Port Allegany and several nieces and nephews.

Korn was preceded in death by his wife, Delores “Dolly” Kilcoin and his step father, Thomas Bashline.

Burial and services in Port Allegany will be private.
