Samuel W. Moore Jr.

Samuel W. Moore Jr., 68, of Grove City passed away Tuesday June 7, 2022.

Samuel was born on September 30, 1953 in Grove City as the son of the late Samuel Moore Sr. and late Mary (Cornelius) Moore.

He was employed as a machinist for Cooper Bessemer until its closing and then later retired from Jadco.  He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Pine Township Fire Department for several years. 

Samuel is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carolyn (Wilder) Moore; two daughters: Michelle (Earl) Michaels and Autumn (Josh) Stouffer; four sons: Charles (Tiffany) Beeman, Rob (Shelly) Petry, Bill (Dana) Petry, and Scott Moore; many grandchildren including Alec Petry, Caden Petry, and Colton Petry; and many great grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters: Debra (Joe) Holmes, Connie McConnell (Rick Gilson), and Barb Moore; and two brothers: Herbert Moore and Randy (Jessie) Moore.

Samuel was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister. 
 

A memorial service will be held on Friday July 1,2022 at 6pm at Wayside Community Church 1911 Mercer Grove City Road Mercer PA 16137.
