Sharon Snyder Obituary
Sharon Lynn Snyder, 80, of Pittsburgh formerly of Butler passed away Monday September 20, 2021 at home.
Sharon was born on January 21, 1941 in Steubenville, Ohio as the daughter of the late Clarence C. Hoffman and late Freda Lynn Barlow Hoffman.
Sharon was a Registered Nurse for 26 years at Allegheny General Hospital and also was a volunteer for Hospice. She enjoyed playing piano and watching TV. Most of all, she was very loved by her children and grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by two daughters: Deborah Garris of Pittsburgh and Rachael McDonald of Los Angeles; one son: Greg McDonald of Pittsburgh; one step-daughter: Mrs. Dale (Diana) Cupec of Slippery Rock; one step-son: Brian Snyder of Fenelton; and seven grandchildren: Robert McDonald, Brianna McDonald, Markus Robles, Tristan Garris, Tyler McDonald, Shane McDonald, and Gavin McDonald.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Snyder, who passed away May 11, 2002; one step son: Kenneth “Butch” Snyder; and her sister Diana Karr.
Services and Burial were private. Sharon was laid to rest beside her husband in West Sunbury Union Cemetery, West Sunbury PA.
