Shen then graduated from Sharon General School of Nursing in Sharon, PA. Suzanne worked as an RN at several area hospitals before becoming a visiting nurse, and then worked as a home health care administrator at several area agencies and continued her education at Penn State University.

Suzanne had a beautiful voice. She sang in numerous musicals and ensemble while in high school. She often sang at weddings and for various area choirs. She was a member of the Musical Theater Guild in Butler and enjoyed being in local musicals. She loved attending Butler Little Theater productions and Butler Symphony concerts with her sister Bonnie. She was always ready to travel and was thrilled to be able to go to Europe three times. She loved Ireland and anything Irish! She had an extensive and varied collection of music that she listened to. She enjoyed running and ran in a Pittsburgh Great Race.

Affectionately known as “Aunt Susie”, Suzanne was a loving and devoted aunt to Christopher, Meghan, Anthony(Lori) and Alex. She was very supportive of their various activities and attended them whenever possible.
