Vera M. (Campbell) Edinboro

Vera M. Edinboro, 89, of West Sunbury passed away Saturday September 17, 2022 at Sarah Reed Retirement Center in Erie. 

Born on December 23, 1932 at the family farm in Concord Township, Vera was the daughter of the late Richard James Campbell and late Viletta V. (Stamm) Campbell. 

Vera was a former member of the West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church.  She had worked at the Spade Shirt Factory, GC Murphy, and retired from Mid-Western Unit IV Grove City as a Teacher’s Aide. 

Vera is survived by her husband, Leslie F. Edinboro, whom she married on September 16, 1953; one daughter, Barbara Mae Davis of Edinboro, PA; one son: Leslie E. (Trish) Edinboro of Glen Allen, VA; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Kenneth D. (Helen) Edinboro of West Sunbury and several nieces and nephews. 

Vera was preceded in death by two sisters, six brothers and one son-in-law, Duane Davis. 

Family and Friends will be received from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday September 23, 2022 at the William F Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury.  Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home with Rev. Karen Thompson, Vera’s niece, officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates. 

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the West Sunbury Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 143, West Sunbury, PA 16061.
