William “Bim” Slater, 61, of North Washington passed away Monday July 18, 2022 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born on June 7, 1961 in Butler, Bim was the son of Robert P. Slater and the late Sally A. (Klink) Slater.
Bim retired from Indespec Chemical in Petrolia. He was well known as the Owner and Operator of Bim’s Boloney Deer Processing for many years. Bim loved to go fishing and camping in Erie and loved to cook.
Bim is survived by his father, Bob Slater; two sons: Zac Slater and Zane Slater (Leslie Fisher) both of Petrolia; three sisters: Michele (Steve) Dymond of Maryland, Kim (Chuck) Buck of Chicora, and Kris (Jim) Zarnick of Karns City; three nieces and three nephews.
Bim was preceded in death by his mother, Sally, and his nephew, Briggs Buck.
Family and Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Thursday July 21, 2022 at the William F Young Funeral Home West Sunbury. Private Funeral Services will be held Friday July 22, 2022.
Burial in Concord Cemetery.
