William K. “Pickle” Dellich Jr., age 69, of West Sunbury peacefully passed away the morning of May 12, 2025 at his home after battling a long illness.
Born on October 28, 1955 in Grove City, he was the son of the late William K. Dellich Sr and Shirley (Hoff) Dellich.
Bill was a member of the Butler Masonic Lodge #272 and longtime member of the NRA. He was employed at the US Steel Sintering Plant until its closing. He then became the dedicated Owner Operator of Dellich Excavating, proudly working alongside his sons.
He is survived by his wife of 41years, Amy (Caporali) Dellich whom he married on September 10, 1983; one son, Heath (Brandy Gillen) of West Sunbury; and five grandchildren, three of whom he and Amy adopted and are raising: Mary Jane, Lily Jean, and William K. Dellich IV; and Jackson and Emerson. He is also survived by his sisters: Chris (Doug) McKinney of West Sunbury, Marilyn (Richard “Gus”) Thompson of Eau Claire, and Tricia Beach of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his son, William K. Dellich III.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 pm Saturday May 17, 2025 at his Dellich Excavating Garage, 201 Findlay Road West Sunbury. Services and Burial will be held Privately for his family. The Young Family of the William F. Young Funeral Home 132 Main Street West Sunbury has assisted the family with arrangements.
